Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Indonesia Craft Trade ("ICT", "we", "us") respects the privacy of the buyers, partners and visitors who use this website. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have.
1. Who We Are
Indonesia Craft Trade is a craft sourcing and export partner based in Indonesia. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@indonesiacrafttrade.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us: when you submit a contact, quote or sourcing form we collect your name, company, email address, country and the project details you choose to share, such as product interest, quantities, timelines and specifications.
Information collected automatically: when you browse the site our servers record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page that referred you and the time of your visit. We use this for security, spam prevention and to keep the website working properly.
Cookies: we use only the cookies needed to run the website, such as a session cookie, a security token that protects forms and a cookie that remembers your language. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
To respond to your inquiry and prepare quotations, samples and sourcing recommendations.
To coordinate with the artisans, workshops and logistics partners needed to fulfil your request.
To manage our business relationship with you, including follow-up communication about an inquiry you started.
To protect the website against fraud, spam and abuse, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
4. Legal Basis
We process your data because you asked us to take steps before entering into a contract (your inquiry), because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing our business, or because the law requires it. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We share only what is necessary with trusted parties who help us serve you: production partners and artisans, freight forwarders and customs brokers, and service providers that host our website or deliver our email. These parties may use your data only to perform their services for us.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, our partners or our users.
6. International Transfers
We are based in Indonesia and many of our buyers are overseas, so your data may be processed in Indonesia and in the countries of the partners involved in your order. When we transfer data we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.
7. How Long We Keep Data
We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting business relationship, generally no longer than three years after our last contact. Records that support contracts, invoices or export documents are kept for the period required by law.
8. Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections, access controls limited to authorised staff and regular software updates. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authority of a data breach where the law requires it.
9. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, including Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.
To make a request, email info@indonesiacrafttrade.com. We will respond within the period required by law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
